Unwanted Knowledge

The moment you hear something you shouldn't have, or realise that what you had just heard or read is something you would rather forget and that it wouldn't benefit your current state of mind in any way... it's too late. Yes, it's too late, the unwanted "knowledge" just corrupted your mind - nothing will ever be the same again. From now on, your "pure" idea of what was, is now a corruption of what is. Pre-supposing now is the field you're an expert in and any further encounters with what you thought something was, will now fully be judged and analysed by your wonderful mind filled with unwanted knowledge. Your view of the world will change. Your idea of the people around you will change. You will change. Unknowingly you will act and react different towards people and ideologies. Change is upon you - suck it up. Never again will you get rid of the Unwanted Knowledge that infiltrated your mind. The world and its people will be much less innoscent in your eyes. Your awareness of any future event or situation will be sharpened and more and more in tune. Unknowingly the unwanted knowledge creeps your brain and pollutes your future. 

The Pinhole

The pinhole camera is a manual, lensless,  handmade camera. It literally takes long-exposure, out-of-focus photos through a pinhole that projects an inverted image into a darkened box.

Why use it? It's got a weak perspective. You have to know how to develop film. You can also only take one photo before you have to unload the camera in the dark and reload a fresh piece of film. It isn't really accurate at all.

It doesn't matter... Use it.

I'll tell you why...  The whole idea of the Pinhole Camera isn't accuracy. It isn't the perspective. It's the feeling - The feeling of capturing an image with something that was handmade, by you. 

It's the nostalgia...

...and sometimes using something that isn't all that perfect is what makes it perfect.

Die Mens – weereens die onderwerp. Altyd die onderwerp. Word of advice: Moenie probeer om die kommersiële gedeelte van die samelewing te verwyder en te vervang met alternatiewe idees nie. Op die ou end van die dag het jy ‘n gemeenskap vol alternatiewe ideologieë, wat glad nie meer vir jou alternatief lyk nie. Kyk om jou, die proses is al amper voltooi. Die proses is al lankal aan die gebeur, in fact, dit is al amper heeltemal klaar.

Die alternatiewe beweging kan onder geen omstandighede funksioneer sonder ‘n teen-sisteem nie. Dit is nodig. Dit moet daar wees. Sonder dit is daar geen rede om alternatief te probeer wees nie.

So is ‘n nuwe anti-alternatief besig om vorm te kry – let wel ek gebruik die term “anti” nie in ‘n negatiewe opsig nie . Sien dié “anti” as ‘n meer alternatiewe beweging of selfs nog ‘n ander tipe alternatief, nie dieselfde as die vorige Alternatief nie. Enige nuwe alternatief is ‘n kind van die sisteem. Die twee is indirek soos ‘n rebelse adolessent en ‘n konserwatiewe ouer.

Musiek bring die ergste in jou uit.
